This cycle we are featuring Miller Electric's SPECTRUM 625 X-TREME Plasma Cutter. This lightweight 21-pound unit comes with a shoulder strap for easy movement from location to location. It also comes with a sturdy case for protection during transportation and storage. It has an internal air regulator to compensate for input air variations, as well as line voltage compensation for keeping the unit at peak performance under fluctuating input power. This unit has Millers' auto line circuitry that automatically connects 120 or 240 volts single-phase power without removing the cover. Just attach either the 120V or 240V adapters and plug it in. The auto re-fire technology automatically controls the pilot arc so you can cut expanded metal without losing the arc. When plugged into 240 volts the rated output is 40 Amps. This will cut 5/8 inch steel at 13 inches per minute. It will also sever 7/8 steel at 5 inches per minute. When plugged into 120 volts the units' power output is reduced to 27 Amps output. When connected to 120 volts, this unit is rated for cutting steel at 3/8 inches at 15 inches per minute. The new Miller XT40 torch with improved flexibility is included.

Lincoln Electric has packaged* their Tomahawk 625 plasma cutter with their Torchmate 2x2 CNC two axis controller K3128-1*. This controller platform is usable for purposes other than cutting, such as routing, milling or engraving. This portable tabletop platform can be setup in any shop. With the standard CAD-lite and Torchmate driver software, you can create your own parts or import .dxf files from most any CAD program. It has an anti-backlash screw drive system using micro step motors to drive two x-axis and one y-axis movements. The minimal computer requirements are windows XP/Vista 2007, 1Ghz Processor, 1GB RAM and 30GB hard drive. The Lincoln Tomahawk 625 plasma cutter has an output range of 10 to 40 Amps, and is rated to cut 1/2-inch steel at 20 inches per minute. The Tomahawk 625 will also sever up to 3/4-inch steel. The Torchmate package* is configured to pierce and cut 3/8 inch at 36 inches per minute. What is included in the package K3128-1 is the two-axis machine, Torchmate 2x2 driver software, Torchmate CAD-lite software and machine torch holder. Also in the package is the Tomahawk 625 which includes Lincoln LC 40M torch w/20 ft cable, air regulator w/psi gauge, internal water separator, work clamp and cable, spare consumables and shoulder strap. This package could open up a complete new area of fun and profit for you.

In the miscellaneous category: We have added a bunch of Kimberly Clark clean up towels. We also added Lincoln heat resistant gloves, LNCK2982. These gloves have an aluminized back and use a multilayer PFR Rayon design and a flame retardant foam lining for heat resistance and comfort. The palm is unlined for flexibility and decreased fatigue. The gloves are assembled using Kevlar thread for maximum seam strength. We stock them in Large and Extra Large.

We now stock the MSA Natural Tan, Full Brim, Skullgard Hardhat, ORS454-475407 and the Fas-trac Suspension headgear, ORS454-473334. This Hardhat meets or exceeds the requirements for ANSI Z89.1-2003 Type 1 for Impact and Class G electrical. Many City and State Utilities as well as industry use this MSA Hardhat.
